New
tablets and e-readers, like the iPad, Kindle and Nook, make reading
accessible, enjoyable and fun--even for adults who are experiencing
vision changes.
The
Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired is offering a
free, hands-on workshop on the accessibility features of e-readers from
3-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013,
at the Goodman South Madison Public Library, 2222 S. Park Street,
Madison.
The presenter is Council Vision Rehabilitation Teacher Jean Kalscheur.
This workshop is free; however, registration is suggested. Call 608.266.6395.
