WLA Conference 2014

If you haven't signed up for this year's Wisconsin Library Association annual conference, we hope that you'll join us soon! This year's conference will be held November 4-7, 2014, at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. 

The WLA Annual Conference is a premier educational event attracting more than 800 attendees from across Wisconsin, including directors, librarians, trustees, friends, support staff and others interested in libraries. Additional programs will also be co-sponsored by affiliate library organizations. It's going to be a terrific conference full of folks who love libraries.
You should be there to connect and engage – and come away transformed!

SLJ Leadership Summit 2014

The 10th Annual SLJ Summit is coming to a place near Wisconsin in October. This event will be at the St. Paul Hotel in St. Paul, MN on October 25 & 26, 2014. The best part ... it's free for attendees! (You will need to pay for a hotel room if you're staying over at the hotel.)

Sparking Creativity and Motivating Students will bring together a dynamic group of school librarians, education leaders, and tech innovators, as well as authors, publishers, and vendor stakeholders. This influential assembly—along with an array of speakers and presenters—convenes to tackle the most pressing challenges and the greatest opportunities facing schools and school libraries. The 2014 Summit will focus on connecting to school success and sparking student creativity. Programming will also address trends in education, successful services and uses of technology, and leadership initiatives and strategies.
